These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Easy PDF.

By downloading or using Easy PDF, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

Easy PDF is a paid app. Subject to your payment of the applicable purchase price and your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Easy PDF for personal or business use. You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

App stores and distribution

You obtain Easy PDF through a third-party app store or distribution platform (the "Store"). Your download and purchase are also subject to the Store's own terms, and the Store handles payment and delivery of the app. The Store is not a party to these Terms and provides no warranty for the app. Where the applicable Store's rules require it, the Store and its affiliates are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Refunds, billing questions, and purchase-related support may be governed by the Store's own policies.

Your documents and backups

Easy PDF is a tool for managing PDF documents stored locally on your device. You remain solely responsible for your documents, including keeping backup copies of important files. Editing operations such as reordering, deleting pages, and merging modify or create files on your device at your instruction; once a page or document is deleted, the app cannot restore it.

No warranty

Easy PDF is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-interference with your data. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with every device or every PDF file. In particular, we do not guarantee against loss of or damage to documents — keep backups of files you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FreiVentures GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including loss of or damage to documents. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent (Vorsatz), gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), or injury to life, body, or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Privacy

Easy PDF does not collect or transmit any personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual property

The app, including its design, graphics, and branding, is the property of FreiVentures GmbH and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding. Your documents remain entirely yours — we claim no rights to any content you manage with the app.

Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may revise these Terms for future versions of the app; the current terms are always available at this address, and material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
