What it does
Haustakt is your household's digital nerve centre. Invite your family or flatmates, then plan the week's meals together — linking recipes from your shared collection to each breakfast, lunch, and dinner slot. A live shopping list and shared to-do list keep everyone on the same page, and a family event calendar with recurring-event support means no appointment gets missed.
At the heart of Haustakt is a recipe engine that goes beyond simple bookmarks. Capture a recipe by snapping a photo of a cookbook, importing a multi-page PDF, or scanning up to four images at once — an AI extraction function sends the content to OpenAI and returns a fully structured recipe with ingredients, instructions, nutrition values, and tags in seconds. Available on iOS and Android with full support for English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish.
