You are responsible for ensuring invited household members are authorized.
4. Service Description
Haustakt provides digital household planning features, including:
- Meal planning
- Shopping lists
- To-do lists
- Family events
- Recipe management
- Image upload and updates
- AI-assisted recipe extraction
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit.
5.2 License to Operate
You grant Haustakt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, store, transmit, and display your content solely for operating, securing, and improving the service.
5.3 Responsibility
You represent that:
- You own or have necessary rights to submitted content
- Content does not infringe third-party rights
- Content complies with applicable law
6. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Upload unlawful or infringing content
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Interfere with system integrity
- Reverse engineer the service
- Use the service unlawfully
We may remove content or suspend accounts for violations.
7. AI-Assisted Extraction Disclaimer
AI extraction relies on third-party AI systems and may generate incomplete or inaccurate results.
- Output must be verified by the user.
- No guarantees are made regarding accuracy, nutritional correctness, dietary safety, or suitability.
- AI output is provided "as is".
No automated decisions with legal effect are made.
8. Privacy
Use of Haustakt is governed by the Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, legal reasons, or security risks.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Haustakt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent data preservation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Haustakt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Intentional misconduct
- Gross negligence
- Injury to life, body, or health
- Mandatory statutory liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Haustakt from claims arising from:

These Terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland.
If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
